Hello and welcome to Togs and Toggles Wools and Yarns.

Hi my name is Shaun Higgins,

  Two years ago my wife, Christina and my self bought a small shop as a going concern.  The shop in question was of course Togs and Toggles situated in Eastwood Nottinghamshire the birth place of D. H. Lawrence. 
   When we took over the shop from the last owner it sold a bit of wool, children’s fashion and a small amount of school wear. Over the last two years we have totally changed the shop around. First of all we trimmed down on the children’s fashion and started to build up the wool and the school wear and we also brought in wedding fashion for children.
   After a year we had the chance to rent the shop next door so we did just that and knocked through.  We then turned the new side of our shop into a wool shop, We now have customers from all over Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
       When we first started with this venture we supplied a small choice of Stylecraft, Tivoli Spinners and Wendy. Now we have built our stock so we are one of the main suppliers in the area and not only that but early this year we took Sirdar yarns on board. On the school wear side of the shop we now stock uniforms for 14 schools in Eastwood and the surrounding area.
  The last two years have certainly been busy. Early this year I was made redundant from my full time job which was just the kick in the B that I needed to start the Togs and Toggles website. I’ve built this site myself and I just hope that you find it easy to use.
